Calvin Verdonk reportedly heading to Indonesia to complete the naturalization process. His older brother, Darryl Verdonk, sent the code via a post on social media.

In an upload on Instagram, Darryl Verdonk showed a photo of him being on a plane to Indonesia. This was said to be a sign that he was accompanying his younger brother to complete the naturalization process.

“Going to Indonesia,” wrote Darryl on Instagram.

The name Calvin Verdonk is claimed to be on the naturalization radar for the Indonesian National Team in the near future. The 27 year old left back has shown signs of interest in defending the Garuda squad in an interview in the Netherlands.

On his social media account, the NEC Nijmegen player has also followed the Instagram account of PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir. This makes the signal of interest even stronger.

Calvin Verdonk is a player born in Dordrecht, Netherlands, on April 26 1997. He has long experience in football in the Windmill country.

His early career began at the Feyenoord academy. He was loaned several times to various Dutch clubs such as PEC Zwolle, NEC Nijmegen, Twente FC, and also to the Portuguese club, Famalicao.

In the 2022/2023 season, Verdonk was recruited by NEC Nijmegen on a free transfer. He became one of the team’s mainstays in the Eredivisie.

NEC Nijmegen made him the main option at left back. Verdonk has appeared in 30 of the 31 Eredivisie matches this season and almost always starts.
