– The Norwegian player who has probably had the most progress in the last 18 months, and the ultimate example of a person with a strong psyche and a belief that you can also succeed internationally, even if the talent is not exceptional, Ståle Solbakken stated to VG.

Now the heather Ryerson also receives praise from his own boss.
– I have worked with four players from Norway and they were all brilliant in terms of working hard. Julian is perhaps the best in that regard. He works very hard, has no ego and just does the job, says coach Eden Terzic when asked by licensee TV 2.
– I also think he is underestimated in terms of technique. He does the job for the team, but he also solves tight situations very well. He is one of those players who never asks “why?” but rather ask “how much?”. It is fantastic and we are very happy to have him in our team, says Terzic.
