Two climate activists threw soup on Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa” in the Louvre in Paris on Sunday. Video footage shows how the two women hit the painting with red soup, which was covered in protective glass. The activists had smuggled their way under a security barrier. They were taken away by Louvre security staff. The activists belong to the French organization “Riposte Alimentaire”.
