Colombia soccer team confirmed its tour of Europe, these will be its rivals

The Colombian soccer team will have as its next rivals its counterparts from Spain and Romania, friendly matches that will serve as preparation for the Copa América 2024, which will take place in the United States between June 20 and July 14.

Through a statement, the Colombian Federation reported that the first duel that the national team will play will be against Spain, in London, on March 22 at 3:30 in the afternoon. The last time the Tricolor faced the Iberian team was in 2017, in Murcia, a match that ended tied 2-2. Edwin Cardona and Falcao García scored for the Creole squad and La Roja converted through Davis Silva and Álvaro Morata.

In the second match of this tour in 2024, those led by Néstor Lorenzo will compete on March 26 against Romania at the Civitas Metropolitano in Madrid, from 2:15 pm

Since May 2006, Colombia has not faced this team. That time they tied 0-0 in the United States.

The last friendly that Colombia played was precisely on North American soil, last December and against Mexico, a team they defeated 3-2.
