If only this third and final episode of Colpo di Luna had been the first, we would have found ourselves faced with Bulgarian Auditel percentages. The only real major flaw in Virginia Raffaele’s variety show on Rai 1 was that timid beginning, a little too cumbersome, almost unsafe. Two weeks later, the show is airtight and, right on cue, it ends. It ends well and, therefore, will be missed. All thanks to the craziest and most talented entertainer on TV who was able to lead the carousel with the sole aid of the incredible talent she possesses: the farewell episode opens with a dizzying monologue in which, as if “possessed”, she is disturbed while conducting by the voices of her historical characters, that is, from herself: she is interrupted, therefore, by Belen Rodriguez who is looking for her shoulder pad, Nicole Minetti in search of Olgettine, Ornella Vanoni who, uninvited, scolds her by calling her an “ungrateful gypsy”, we even hear from Carla Fracci to the ballet barre from the afterlife. She is missing, for those who remember her – and there will be many of us – GiorgiaMaura from Amici, a splendid parody of a typical talent contestant. Nothing can be argued against Virginia Raffaele, especially in the medley version: she is extraordinary. She’s not the carousel, but the entire Luna Park.
