Controversy at the Barranquilla carnivals: woman paraded completely naked in a float

The rhythm of the drums in the parade held last Carnival Saturday on 17th Street in Barranquilla, Atlántico, where King Momo was honored, had among its participants a woman who appeared completely naked on a float, while dancing as if she they were whipping. The woman was wearing a red wig on her head and several of the hairs were placed on her face, which prevented her recognition through the different videos that those attending the parade recorded and that were quickly shared on social networks.

In this regard, Carnaval de Barranquilla, the entity in charge of organizing this parade on 17th Street, is investigating who was responsible for allowing this woman in her group to leave so that she can provide explanations about why this situation occurred. Photo Courtesy.
