An MP accused of watching porn videos on his mobile phone while in the House of Commons is now under investigation by Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party. “This behavior is absolutely unacceptable,” said those responsible for discipline in the majority party, promising that “measures will be decided”. The name of the deputy was not disclosed, whose conduct was revealed by the Daily Mirror and Sun newspapers; to raise the issue, during a meeting of Tory parliamentarians, he was a member of the government. She explained that a few months ago an MP sitting next to her was watching porn videos on her mobile phone.
The issue comes in full parliamentary debate on sexism: Sunday, the Sunday Times revealed that three ministers and two opposition MPs are accused of “sexual misconduct”, a term that can refer to harassment, voyeurism or assaults sexual; 56 deputies were referred to an office in charge of registering complaints, established during the period of the Metoo movement.
