There is a risk of being stranded abroad. In particular, in the event that it is necessary to undergo molecular or antigenic tests for entry into Italy or for returning to our country from a foreign destination, it must be taken into account that it may be positive. And in this case you are subject to the quarantine and containment procedures provided for by the country in which you are located. Procedures that involve, with some possible differences due to different local regulations, also the “contacts” with the positive subject, equally subjected to quarantine / isolation by the local authorities.

The return to Italy, for protection, can only take place at the end of the envisaged period of isolation. “It is therefore recommended to plan every aspect of the trip with the utmost care, also contemplating the possibility of having to spend an additional period abroad, as well as having health insurance”.
