After an unchanged score in the first half, Ellis Simms opened the scoring for the visitors in the 8th minute of the second half. Wolves’ turnaround came with goals from Rayan Aït-Nouri and Hugo Bueno in the 43rd minute of the second half.

That’s when things got crazy in the match.

Again with Ellis Simms (52 minutes) and then with Haji Wright (55), Coventry City, 8th in the Championshipturned the score around to eliminate favorites Wolverhampton and guarantee a place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, a competition that the club has not won since the 1986/87 edition.

Coventry City’s rival in the semi-final will be determined by draw which takes place this Sunday (17).

Three other games will still be played for a place in the next phase: Chelsea x Leicester, Manchester United x Liverpool and Manchester City x Newcastle.
