Covid in China: cases still growing. 9 million people in lockdown

BEIJING – Do not panic, there will be no general lockdown, do not believe the false rumors circulating. For days this has been the message that the Shanghai authorities have been repeating to the 24 million inhabitants of the second most important city in China. For six days, however, the cases of Covid have continued to grow here and the closures, aimed at not compromising economic activities too much, multiply.
