The police have now arrested and charged a man in his 40s, after a man in his 50s was stabbed at Vår Frelser’s cemetery on Wednesday evening.
– The person himself met with the police, writes crime leader Morten Kalhagen of the Oslo police.
The police will seek to interrogate the accused tonight or tomorrow.
– At the present time, the police have no further information to announce about the case or the accused person.
– We have not received an update from the healthcare system, but we know that the man has suffered serious injuries. According to my understanding, however, there is no question of life-threatening injuries, says crime leader Morten Kalhagen of the Oslo police to NTB on Thursday morning.
The man in his 50s, who was stabbed at the Vår felsers graveyard in Oslo on Wednesday evening, is not life-threatening, according to the police. He is nevertheless seriously injured.
The man was admitted to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed near the church in the cemetery at 9pm on Wednesday evening. He was conscious when he was picked up by the ambulance.
