Croatia, Zagreb’s green turning point: Tomasevic is the new mayor of the capital

BERLIN – An important ecological and pro-European turning point on the left in Croatia. The most important Croatian green leader, Tomislav Tomasevic, just 39 years old, he won the local elections held throughout the country in the capital Zagreb and thus became mayor of Zagreb with an important push for change and in favor of new pro-European, ecological and left-wing orientations, different from those represented by the Socialist Party the historical progressive force of the former Yugoslav republic currently in opposition on a national basis.
