Daniel Muñoz was announced this Tuesday as a reinforcement for Crystal Palace. The 27-year-old right-back left Genk, from Belgium, and signed a contract valid until 2027, with another season as an option.
According to the English press, the deal was made for 6.9 million pounds (8.1 million euros), although the figure mentioned in Belgium reaches 10 million euros.
Roy Hodgson gains a new option on the right side of the defense, where he had two more experienced players: Joel Ward and Nathaniel Clyne. The Colombian international (23 games) fulfills his dream of playing in the Premier League, moving to London after registering seven goals and one assist for Genk in the first half of 2023/24.
