CTS Eventim wants to take over Vivendi’s ticket business

München – The concert organizer CTS Eventim wants to buy the festival and international ticket business of the French media and conglomerate Vivendi. A corresponding agreement on a purchase option had been concluded, CTS Eventim announced on Tuesday in Munich. The management of the MDax company was confident that the project would be completed “in the coming months”. The companies did not provide any information about the purchase price.

Overall, the Vivendi business areas up for sale achieved sales of 137 million euros last year. The majority of this comes from the ticket business under the See Tickets brand. It is therefore the second largest ticket distributor in Great Britain and is also active in other European countries.
