The third edition of Bilbao Damba FestivalIt will be celebrated on March 23 at the Bilborock hall with music, dance and theater from an anti-racist perspective. The festival seeks to create a space for recognition and reparation of diversity through music above all, but also dance and theater.
We already know the bulk of the musical programming, headed by the Madrid rapper and composer The chojin. They will accompany him on the Bilborock stage: Thierno Ibrahima, Diedhiou, La Basu, Baba Flow, Flavia Beaka, Lore Flamenco, Novato, African Vibes, Hamanac, classes, As for Gzon y Djslimdaze.
Behind the initiative is the rapper Betto Snay, Angolan rapper, living in the Bilbao neighborhood of San Francisco for more than two decades, whose projects revolve around the demand for diversity, tolerance and telling the reality of his neighbors. His latest project is called “cardboard bed” whose objective is to improve the situation of homeless people.
