Denmark is the first EU country to abolish restrictions: “Covid under control”

BERLIN – No more masks, certificates or smartphone passes: the first country in Europe, Denmark abrogates all anti-Covid restrictions and returns to normal life. It can do so because of the highly effective vaccination policy, multi-stage sweep testing and prevention, and collective discipline. Sweden will follow suit later this month, but without the same sense of security: the lax policy of the government and the chief epidemiologist Anders Tegnell it has caused many infections and deaths.
