With reference to the offer presented in December 2023 by Iliad for the activities of Vodafone Italia, the Vodafone Group issued a statement – indeed terse – following the press release released by the French group itself.
“In December we communicated that we are exploring options with several parties in Italy. We have stopped discussions with Iliad while discussions with other parties continue.”
A cryptic message with insiders who however glimpse a possible new exit for Vodafone’s future Italian flag.
