The Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, Kristijan Šmit, the high representative who is not recognized by the authorities of Republika Srpska, and the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UN, Zlatko Lagumdžija, spoke.

Dodik took to social media this morning, saying that Cvijanović presented the views of Republika Srpska in the right way at last night’s session.

“Željka Cvijanović correctly presented the views of Republika Srpska at the session of the UN Security Council. It is also visible that the sponsors of the resolution on Srebrenica made it possible for the illegal Šmit to speak, who again did not say anything accurate about Republika Srpska, but it is very strange that the Security Council allowed Zlatko Lagumdžija to speak as well.

He is an ambassador, but he cannot speak on behalf of BiH, he represented only the Muslim people there. In this way, they tried to belittle what Željka Cvijanović said, but they did not succeed.

Zlatko Lagumdžija could not perform without the agreed position of the BiH Presidency. He is again destroying BiH in such a way because he does not respect its institutions, and he blames others for that.”wrote Dodik on Twitter.

In his speech, Lagumdžija referred to the adoption of the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica – thereby responding to the claims of the Russian ambassador to the UN, saying that it should not be turned into a controversy, because the goal is sustainable peace and support the truth process, reports N1.

By the way, he also said that it is worrying that the Security Council was instrumentalized as a public stage to the detriment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that it has nothing to do with concern for the country.

Let us remind you that the session was convened at the request of Russia, whose ambassador said last night that “BiH no longer has the status of an independent state” and that “the resolution does not aim to commemorate the victims”.
