Jadon Sancho shined in the match. The winger recorded 12 successful dribbles, aka passing opponents, becoming the player with the most successful dribbles this season.

Sancho also became the first player in the Champions League semifinals who was able to beat his opponent more than 10 times in the last 16 years. The last player to do so was Lionel Messi (16 times) in 2008.

Jadon Sancho previously expelled from the squad Manchester United. It is believed that the relationship between Sancho and manager Erik ten Hag is broken.
Sancho was even frozen for several months, until finally he was loaned to Borussia Dortmund, his former club, in January 2024. His loan period is until the end of this season.
