Recently, the social security situation in El Salvador has deteriorated and the number of homicides has rebounded. Since March 25, 71 murders have occurred in the whole of El Salvador within 48 hours. March 26 was the day with the most murders in a single day this year, with 62 people killed, 25 times the daily average. Today, President Bukele declared a state of emergency in Saskatchewan for a period of 30 days.
