The game between Sporting Lisbon and Atalanta Bergamo ended in a draw. The Italians only hit the post three times.

Atalanta struggled to cope with the opponent’s constant one-two passes in the opening minutes and was taken by surprise in the 17th minute. Paulinho gave the home team the lead. Atalanta did not give in as a result. Before both Holm and Scamacca hit the post, the attacker equalized the game in the 39th minute.

In the second half, Atalanta pushed for a goal, but again it was the post that prevented them from taking the lead. This time it was Lookman who failed due to the aluminum. As a result, Sporting also failed at the bar. Shortly before the end, Touré’s supposed opening goal was canceled due to a clear offside position. All other games in the Europa League will take place on Thursday.

Result

Sporting Lisbon – Atalanta 1:1
Tore: 1:0 Paulinho (17.), 1:1 Scamacca (39.)
