Yesterday, April 30, it was announced on the official website that Sekiguchi Mandy (33) of the dance and vocal group EXILE and GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE will graduate from the group and leave LDH on June 25. In response to this, on May 1st, seven GENERATIONS members appeared at a press conference and revealed their interactions with EXILE HIRO, LDH JAPAN’s representative director, chairman and president.

Mendy said that he had been thinking about graduating from the group and leaving LDH since around 2022, and had even consulted HIRO. She reveals that HIRO kindly listened to her and told her that “there are many different ways to go” and “there may be other paths.”

GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE is a dance and vocal group consisting of performers Alan Shirahama, Jun Komori, Reo Sano, Mendy Sekiguchi, Yuta Nakatsuka, and vocalists Ryota Katayose and Ryutomo Kazuhara. Debuted in November 2012 with the 1st single “BRAVE IT OUT”. Since their debut, all of their singles have been in the top 10 of the Oricon rankings. At the end of 2019, she made her first appearance at the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. From that year, he participated for three consecutive years.
Mendy was born on January 25, 1991 and is from the United States. She made her major debut in November 2012 as a performer of her GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE. She was selected as EXILE’s new performer in April 2014 and joined EXILE. She has been active as a member of the hip-hop unit “HONEST BOYZ” with NIGO, EXILE NAOTO, VERBAL, and SWAY since 2016, and as a member of EXILE TRIBE’s new music unit EXILE B HAPPY since 2023.
