Expo Dubai, the government’s commitment to gender equality in the study of scientific subjects at the Italian Pavilion

On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, established by the United Nations in 2015, the Italian Pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai was the center of an important debate on promoting female empowerment and reducing gender inequality in disciplines scientific. The “Mind the Stem Gap” conference, promoted by the Barocco Foundation and the Aspen Institute Italia, outlined the difficulties and strategies to overcome the gap and promote more inclusive education.
