– During maintenance and repair work, an accident occurred in the area of a roller coaster at the amusement park in Brühl.
A 43-year-old employee of the Phantasialand theme park was carrying out maintenance work on the “Taron” roller coaster at around 3 p.m. on Monday, March 25th when the fatal accident occurred. The exact circumstances surrounding the accident are the subject of police investigations, which are currently ongoing. Phantasialand was not open at the time of the accident, so there were no visitors to the theme park.
