The rapper tearfully explains that his marriage to Chiara was not strong enough for her crises.
On Tuesday evening, Fedez sat down opposite presenter Francesca Fagnani. On the talk show “Belve” he spoke openly about the ongoing crisis with his wife Chiara Ferragni (36). Other topics such as his drug addiction were also discussed.
The marital crisis
What most interested people watching TV was what Fedez had to say about his marriage to Chiara Ferragni. The presenter first asked him what made him fall in love with her. “To be honest: the sex. “I have rarely experienced this attraction,” he says.
“When did your love end?” Fagnani wants to know. According to the rapper, he doesn’t want to talk about it. There is no sole reason for the crisis. «Chiara and I have been through many difficult moments. “My illness meant three very difficult years and we couldn’t hold on,” he says through tears. She is currently “legally” his wife, but he makes it clear that they are separated.
When Fedez talks about Chiara Ferragni and his cancer, he tears up.
MAGO/ABACAPRESS
Fedez reveals that he is the reason they stopped showing the kids on Instagram. He wanted to protect Leone (6) and Vittoria (3) and asked the influencer to do the same.
Again in tears, the Italian said: “Everyone thought I would come here and insult my wife. It’s not like that, she is the mother of my children and will always be the most important woman in my life, no matter what happens. I hope that the climate can relax.”
There Pandoro Scandal
The presenter confronts Fedez with the accusation that since the Balocco scandal, not only brands have turned away from Chiara, but he too. Chiara, on the other hand, was at his side in difficult moments. “I had cancer and my wife is being charged with fraud. Why are you putting this on the same level? “You can’t compare,” he replied.
«The scandal influenced the crisis. I found out about the fraud when it became public,” admits the musician. Logically, he didn’t take it well at first either. Especially because the media then also targeted him and his fundraising efforts.
He always wanted to defend her. “She decided to take all the blame. She didn’t have to do that because she wasn’t solely responsible for it.” Her manager is one of the people Fedez says is also to blame.
Chiara Ferragni and her manager Fabio Maria Damato have been working together since 2017.

The drug addiction
Fedez was addicted to drugs as a teenager. After a year he got away from it. “I stopped completely because I attempted suicide when I was 18.” The suicide attempt was triggered by his drug abuse. “If you abuse synthetic drugs and your brain no longer produces serotonin, you are more susceptible to depression,” he says.
Getting away from drugs wasn’t easy for him. But thanks to the support of those around him, he managed it. “I was looking for a feeling of happiness in MDMA,” he says about the time, which seems like “ten lifetimes ago.”
Krebs, his mother and Luis Sal
The conversation also turns to Fedez’s fight against pancreatic cancer. When asked whether the illness had made him a better person, he said: “No.” The Milanese also raves about his mom, who manages his various companies. «I only want her as CEO. She is not a studied woman. But in the year when she wasn’t running my company, it was at its lowest value.”
He is currently in a legal dispute with his ex-podcast colleague Luis Sal. Because of this, he had to pause the podcast. “I really loved him,” said Fedez about the YouTuber.
