FENDI x FRGMT x POKÉMON

FENDI x FRGMT x POKÉMON

On Thursday 4 January 2024, a line born from the collaboration between the brands Fendi, FRGMT and The Pokémon Company appeared on the official Fendi website.

In this collection, which boasts around 50 items including luxury bags, jewelery and clothing, FRGMT by Hiroshi Fujiwara transforms Fendi motifs and icons into small pop masterpieces with Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite to celebrate the year of the dragon.

Below are some of my favorite pieces:

The mascot article of this line is a “Totem” depicting Dragonite with the distinctive Fendi scarf around her neck. This figure was handmade by craftsmen requiring a total of 30 hours of work to complete.

The most expensive item is a bag baguette, entirely embroidered with beads, depicting the evolutionary trio Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite.

Despite the exorbitant prices, many of the items that make up the collection sold out within a few hours of launch.

The interesting thing about this initiative is that it also involves the application of Pokémon GO!

In fact, the following announcement is reported on the Fendi website:

Notice to all coaches!

The Maison celebrates the collaboration with Pokémon GO by offering special avatar objects inspired by the creations FENDI x FRGMT x POKÉMON.
