Five goals were created in the duel Chelsea vs Newcastle United. When the 90 minutes of the match were complete, the Blues narrowly won 3-2.
In the match at Stamford Bridge, Tuesday (12/2/3024) early morning WIB, Chelsea and Newcastle drew 1-1 in the first half. Nicolas Jackson’s goal at the start of the match was answered by Alexander Isak at the end.
Chelsea managed to reduce their lead to two goals through Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk, before being reduced by Jacob Murphy at the end of normal time.

Three points do not change Chelsea’s position in 11th place Premier League standings with 39 points from 27 matches. However, their difference with Newcastle in 10th place is only one point.

Chelsae took the lead in the sixth minute through Nicolas Jackson. Cole Palmer got the ball in the penalty box and shot straight into the goal. The ball was then touched by Jackson’s heel and rolled into the corner of the goal.
Chelsea, who were leading 1-0, played more aggressively and tried to find ways to add goals. Newcastle, who defended more, was able to reduce the wave of Chelsea attacks.

The visiting team was finally able to equalize the score two minutes before the end of normal first half time. Starting from successfully snatching the ball from the possession of a Chelsea player in the opponent’s area, Bruno Guimaraes immediately sent it to Alexander Isak on the left side.

Isak entered the penalty box before shooting into the right corner of Darde Petrovic’s goal. The 1-1 score lasted until halftime.
In the second half, Chelsea were still in control of the game and then restored the lead in the 57th minute through Palmer.
Errors in Chelsea’s back line made it easy for Palmer to shoot from the edge of the penalty box, the ball passed between the defender’s legs before entering Dubravka’s goal.

Two minutes later Newcastle’s back line again made it easier for Chelsea to create opportunities. This time Sterling managed to get past Dubravka and shoot the ball into the empty net. Dann Burn quickly dispelled it.
Chelsea made it 3-1 in the 76th minute. Newcastle’s failure to reduce Chelsea’s attacks from the left made it easy for Mudryk to enter the penalty box, past Tino Livramento, Fabian Schar and Dubravka, before shooting into the empty net.

Newcastle closed the gap in the 90th minute when Jacob Murphy escaped Marc Cucurella’s control and finished with a hard kick into the top left corner of Petrovic’s goal.
No goals were scored until the end of the match and Chelsea still won 3-2.
