KK Borac Banja Luka kept its chances to be in the playoffs after the league part of the ABA 2 league.

I think that as a whole team we looked like one real group, despite those big problems that have no direct connection with the field, we close our ranks and give our best against an excellent opponent like Sutjeska “said Borca coach Zoran Kašćelan, adding:

In general, when you look at the entire regular season, I think that Borac achieved good results, that we are recognizable, that as a young team we still left some mark. My only regret is that in the first game here against Pelister we were not right, but at the end of the day, when you look at the entire regular part, I think we did a good job.“
After 13 rounds, it can happen that as many as four teams (Borac, Sutjeska, Pelister and Helios) are at a ratio of 6-7, so a round would be created, in which the mutual ratio would decide on filling the vacant two positions for the playoffs!
“As is well known every year, at the end the digitrons are taken in hand, the calculations are made. We are sorry that after four excellent tournaments we missed the opportunity to decide our own destiny, but I think that this kind of game and victory can mean a lot to us in terms of self-confidence because we are waiting for us, even if we do not make it to the playoffs of the ABA 2 League, demanding end of the domestic championship. Congratulations to Sutjeska, I wish them all the best for the rest of the season, and a really huge congratulations to my boys because we didn’t even know before this game how we would look physically because we spent three days trying to recover“, concluded the Montenegrin strategist.
