BERLIN – Finland’s request to join NATO is only a few hours away: Helsinki could forward it “as early as tomorrow or Wednesday”. And Kai Sauer, Finnish Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, is also confident that Turkey’s resistance will fall: “The PKK is banned in the EU and we are determined to fight terrorism”.
