The plan is to arrest him on the plane arriving at Narita Airport on the morning of the 13th.

Prior to his deportation, immigration authorities held a press conference on the 12th in Batam, where he had been detained in the western part of the country. Suspect Yamazaki was also present with his back turned, and did not say anything when asked if he was aware of the illegality.

After leaving Japan, Yamazaki moved to various countries before entering Indonesia in April 2021. There is also information that he was working at a local steel-related company and earning income until June 2022.

According to the prefectural police, Nishiyama Farm began its overseas resale business in 2015, and effectively went bankrupt in 2019. The fund is said to have collected a total of 13.3 billion yen from 930 people in 31 prefectures, mainly in Aichi Prefecture, with the promise that if they invested in the business, they would receive a refund in addition to dividends. Five people, including former executives, have been found guilty of violating investment laws.
