The calendar is ready for “Lessons of Europe 2024”, a cycle webinar whose objective is to encourage citizens to deepen their knowledge and acquire more information on the European Union – its institutions, its policies, the opportunities it makes available.
The initiative is organized by the Centers of the Europe Direct network – including that of Trapani for Sicily.
Dal February 15th to April 18th 2024 a cycle of 9 webinars will go through three macro topics: “The European Union and funding opportunities”; “Hard times. The European Union and the international scenario”; “The Green Deal, artificial intelligence and their concrete applications”.
The program has been divided according to the topics to be covered, which are of interest both for the EU and for citizens, with the aim of involve the regions of reference of Europe Direct and the Italian representation of the European Commission and the European Parliament in Italy. The dissemination activity is supported by the various territorial representatives of Europe Direct, by the reference universities of sedi Europe Direct (University of Palermo, University Center of the province of Trapani, University of Siena, University of Chieti), fromAndes Sicilyfrom the Civic Network for Health.
This edition of “Lessons of Europe” falls in the year in which the elections to the European Parliament, expected next June. Through the 9 webinars that make up the “Lessons of Europe”, an open space is offered to interested citizens, to give them the opportunity to listen to the reflections carried out by authoritative scholars, experts and analysts on some crucial issues of the European Union.
The webinars, lasting onehour and thirty minutes eachwill be hosted on the platform Formez.Patherefore the participation requires registration. It is possible to participate in the entire journey or in individual webinars.
