“Rock in the Surf”
“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart broken into a million pieces that I write this message to announce the passing of my beloved husband and life partner, Ian Gelder. In December, Ian was diagnosed with bile duct cancer and yesterday, at 1:07 p.m. He died. I had given up all my work to be there for him, but neither of us had any idea that everything would happen so quickly. He was my rock and we were partners for over 30 years. With these heartbreaking words, Daniels announces the death of his partner. The two have been a close-knit team and also acting colleagues for 30 years.
