Garbe Industrial Real Estate Italy (GARBE) – leader in the logistics, industrial and technological real estate market in Germany and Europe – inaugurated together with SFO Capital Partners and Prelios Sgr, the innovative Giovi Logistics Park built in Silvano Pietra, in the province of Pavia .
With a surface area of over 83,000 m2 and a strategic positioning, the new logistics park, the first built by GARBE in Italy, was developed together with SFO Capital Partners – a global real estate investor and manager based in London – and is managed by Prelios SGR through the Giove Fund.
Giovi Logistics Park takes its name from the A7 motorway on which it is located, known as the Giovi motorway, one of the main European road transport arteries. The asset is in fact located at the center of the crossroads between Milan, Genoa and Turin, in the immediate vicinity of the most important motorway connections: in front of the A7 Milan-Genoa motorway, with access to it from the Casei Gerola toll booth 4 km away and access to the A21 from the Voghera toll booth, 7 km.
In detail, Giovi Logistics Park is a grade A logistics property, with a covered area of over 83,000 m2, 12 meters of height under the beam, 1,600 m2 of office space, more than 78,000 m2 of warehouses, 89 loading bays. The property is made up of 8 independent modules, of approximately 10,000 m2 each, each of which is equipped with areas used for logistics, offices, services and forklift loading rooms. Each office block is independent and is organized on two levels: a ground floor of 200 m2 with operational functions such as changing rooms, services and operational offices, and a first floor of another 200 m2 consisting of an open space for office use and related services . The logistics park, which will be LEED PLATINUM certified, was created using eco-friendly materials and technologies and is also equipped with over 300 car parks and 24 for trucks.
The construction works of the Giovi Logistics Park were officially completed last December 2023, in line with the original timing of the project. The marketing mandate for the project is entrusted exclusively to Dils and Colliers, and to date there are already two signatory tenants, Rhenus and Staci Italia, but other rental contracts are also being defined.
