The Israeli air force carried out attacks in the Gaza Strip after the launch of incendiary balloons from Palestinian territory in southern Israel, according to Palestinian security sources and witnesses.
These attacks and balloons are the first major incidents between Israel and Gaza since the ceasefire on May 21, which ended 11 days of war that resulted in 260 Palestinian deaths, including children, adolescents and fighters; and 13 deaths in Israel, including a child, a teenager and a soldier.
