Jakarta (ANTARA) – This season’s surprise team, Bayer Leverkusen, has continued their miraculous steps by holding a ten-point lead at the top of the German League standings, after their 24th week.
On Sunday (3/3), Xabi Alonso’s troops won 2-0 at Koln headquarters. Meanwhile, the day before, Leverkusen’s closest competitor, Bayern Munich, drew 2-2 at home to Freiburg.
Meanwhile, VfB Stuttgart tightened its grip on third place after winning 3-2 at home to Wolfsburg. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also still competing in fourth and fifth positions with a difference of one point, Dortmund won 2-0 at Union Berlin’s headquarters, while RB Leipzig brought home a 4-1 win at home to Bochum.
At the bottom of the table, there were no changes after the three teams at the bottom of the standings played matches in Week 24. Koln remains in 16th position after being defeated by Leverkusen, Mainz is in 17th position after drawing 1-1 with Borussia Moenchengladbach, and bottom team Darmstadt is sinking further after being crushed 0-6 by visiting Augsburg.
