Germany, scandal in the SPD: at least 5 women intoxicated by the “rape drug” at the traditional summer party

BERLIN – This year the traditional “summer party” of the SPD ended badly. Police investigate five women who may have been intoxicated with the “rape drug”. And the case embarrasses the party not so much because the chancellor was present at the event on Wednesday evening Olaf Scholz and some Social Democratic ministers, but because it was an invitation-only party, which this year due to Covid had been restricted to a thousand people, almost all politicians, parliamentarians or local SPD collaborators.
