Deportivo Pasto and Once Caldas could not break the score and left a pale draw at the Libertad stadium. With the tie, Blanco Blanco is fourth in the Betplay 2024-I League table.
For the first half, Deportivo Pasto approached with Israel Alba who sent a cross into the area and there goalkeeper James Aguirre cleared to ward off the danger. Towards 33′, Diego Chávez tried another one for Volcánico with a left foot shot that went over the rival goal. A minute later, the local team tried another shot with Jhonier Hurtado after a corner kick from the side.
At 37′, Pasto once again had the opening of the scoring with a shot by Chávez who, after a bad start by Aguirre, sent the ball into the goal, but the defense drowned out the goal cry for the home team with a clearance on the line.
In the second half, James Aguirre could not continue and brought on Ezequiel Mastrolía in the Once goal. Pasto tried it with Christian Mafla who sent a shot with his weak leg that went well off the rival goal. In the 71st minute, the clearest goal came for Pasto with Nicolás Gil who, after a cross from Chávez, sent the ball to the post.
Eight minutes after this opportunity, Pasto had another very clear one this time with Andrés Amaya who, after a great pivot by Santiago Tréllez, fired a left foot shot that Mastrolía sent to the corner kick.
With this tie, Caldas remains in the top eight with 25 points while Pasto remains second to last with 12 points.
