Gypsy Rose Blanchard reveals breakup

At the end of December last year, Gypsy Rose Blanchard (32) was released after she was sentenced to ten years in prison for complicity in the murder of her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.

Now, three months later, Blanchard confirms on Facebook that it is over with her husband Ryan Scott Anderson, according to People.

“People have been asking what’s going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation, and I have moved in with my parents at home down in the bay,” she writes in a Facebook post.

“I have the support of family and friends to help me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am,” she writes further.

The couple married while Blanchard was behind bars, in July 2022.

Just before the 32-year-old was released, she revealed to the magazine that she and Anderson were planning another wedding once she had completed her sentence.

At the time, Blanchard said that she was excited to move in with Anderson and start their life together.

– I have never lived with a man. I grew up with a mother, so I didn’t even grow up with a father in the house. So I’m like, ‘I don’t even know what it’s like to live with a man.

Blanchard served seven years of a ten-year sentence for complicity in the murder of her mother. It was her ex-boyfriend Nick Godejohn (34), who carried out the murder, and he is serving life in prison.

The pair planned the mother’s murder after Blanchard found out that her mother had tricked her into thinking she was terminally ill for several years.
