RB Leipzig’s U19s drew 2-2 (1-0) against Werder Bremen at the end of the A-Junior Bundesliga North/Northeast. ends. Yannick Eduardo (5th) with his 23rd goal of the season and Jamie Schuldes (75th) scored for RB, which led early and then ran after the deficit after a Bremen double strike. Sebastian Heidinger’s team finished the season in fifth place.

Before kick-off, 152 fans at Cottaweg saw eleven U19 players being bid farewell: Captain Elias Lenz as well as Chilohem Onuoha, Oleksandr Havrylenko, Tim Meyer, Simon Schierack, Marwan Kponton, Paul Kühnhardt, Moritz Ae, Jakob Sachse, Silas Pruerock and Sammy Mohammad will leave RBL at the end of the season.
