HFC starts powerfully
Before the game, club legend Fabian Klos was bid farewell by the Arminia fans with an overwhelming choreography, then the game began. And the HFC made it clear in the first few minutes that they had to get three points today. Best with an early goal. Also to take the Hexenkessel Alm with its 25,194 spectators out of the game. Tom Baumgart (3rd) and Meris Skenderović (4th) tested DSC keeper Jonas Kersken, who was there for both chances.
Both teams leave the score 1-0
Afterwards, the Bielefeld team found their way into the game better and were able to contain the efforts of the Saalestadt team more effectively. Moving forward mostly came via high balls. The home team’s best chance came after a long diagonal ball to Klos, who took the ball down with his chest and passed it to Louis Oppie (36′), who was running along with him. Halle goalkeeper Sven Müller sensationally parried the full-back’s shot.
The HFC also had its chance in the first half, but Tunay Deniz missed from a promising position (43′). So it was goalless at half time.
