Bayern immediately responded. Harry Kane’s header was pushed over by Janis Blaswich and hit the goal post, but he quickly caught the rebound before it was caught by Kane.

Bayern missed another golden opportunity. Leroy Sane was free up front after receiving Jamal Musiala’s accurate pass. However, Sane took too long to rub the ball so his shooting space was closed.

The deadlock was finally broken. Harry Kane opened the scoring to give Bayern Munich a 1-0 lead in the 56th minute. Musiala’s pass to Kane in the penalty box was completed with a kick into the far corner of the goal.

Bayern 1, RB Leipzig 0.

Manuel Neuer makes a brilliant save. Benjamin Sesko is free up front so he just has to face Neuer. Sesko chipped the ball, but Neuer stretched his arms wide to embrace the ball.

Bayern’s lead only lasted briefly. RB Leipzig scored the equalizing goal through Benjamin Sesko in the 70th minute.

Willi Orban’s collaboration with Dani Olmo ended with a pass at Sesko in the middle of the penalty box. Sesko finished with a low shot that outwitted Neuer before penetrating the Bayern goal.

The decision to include Eric Choupo-Moting proved to be the right one. Choupo-Moting created Harry Kane’s second goal, as well as Bayern’s winning goal in injury time.
