Havana’s rival in the alfajores sector opens its first physical store in Brazil

Cachafaz, one of Havana’s main competitors in the alfajor trade in Argentina, arrives in Brazil with its first physical store. The city chosen to launch the Argentine alfajores and sweets brand’s foray into the Brazilian market was Fortaleza.

The capital of Ceará welcomes the store on the premises of Shopping Iguatemi Bosque, located in the Edson Queiroz neighborhood, east of the city. And it shouldn’t be the only one opened in Brazil this year. According to the Cachafaz website, the forecast is to receive more than 15 stores around the country.

Among the cities expected to receive physical Cachafaz stores are Aracaju, Salvador, Maceió, Recife, Natal, Belém, Campo Grande, Curitiba, Joinville, Blumenau, Florianópolis and Porto Alegre. The Balneário Camboriú unit is already under construction.

In addition to alfajores, the brand offers other classic sweets, such as chocolate drops and Marroc, a square of milk and white chocolate with crunchies that became famous in social media.
