Condition Lionel Messi not yet certain to play in the pre-season match Hong Kong XI vs Inter Miami at Hong Kong Stadium, Sunday (4/2) afternoon.
Lionel Messi is still doubtful to play against Hong Kong XI. This was because the captain of the Argentine national team suffered a minor injury during the friendly match against Al Nassr, Thursday (2/2).
In the match which resulted in Miami losing 0-6, Messi became a substitute in the 83rd minute, replacing Leonardo Campana.

In a press conference ahead of the match, Miami coach Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino also could not confirm whether Lionel Messi would face Hong Kong or not.
“We want Leo to play as optimally as possible. We will evaluate the players,” said Martino, quoted from AS.
“The hope is that Leo can play optimally. We’ll see in training, but most likely he will play on Sunday,” added Martino.
Martino hopes that this trial can give Miami a win. The reason is, in the two previous pre-season matches, The Herons never won.
“We went four games without a win in pre-season, we have to get out of this dynamic. The priority is to win Sunday’s game,” said Martino.
