JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The General Election Commission (KPU) is currently carrying out a recapitulation of vote counting results, including for the Regency/City DPRD Legislative Election.
Based on the official 2024 Election schedule from the KPU, the recapitulation of vote counting results will be carried out from February 15 2024 to March 20 2024.
It is known that the KPU has issued KPU Regulation Number 6 of 2023 concerning Electoral Districts and Allocation of Seats for Members of the People’s Representative Council, Provincial Regional People’s Representative Council and Regency/City Regional People’s Representative Council in the 2024 General Election.
Electoral Districts (Dapil) and the number of DPRD member seats are 84 Dapils and 580 seats, Provincial DPRDs are 301 Dapils and 2,372 seats, and Regency/City DPRDs are 2,325 Dapils and 17,510 seats, for a total of 2,710 Dapils and 20,462 seats.

Apart from the real temporary count, the website will also display the vote counting results. Here’s how.
How to check the vote count for the 2024 Regency/City PRD legislative election
2. In the “Presidential Election” column, select Regency/City DPRD Election
3. After that, in the “select province” column, click on the region where you want to see the vote count results
4. Select the region up to the City/Regency level
5. Later, you will see the vote tally per individual divided into party groups

2. In the “Presidential Election” column, select Regency/City DPRD Election
3. In the “Vote Count” column, select “Determination of Election Results”
3. After that, in the “select province” column, click on the region where you want to see the results of the 2024 Regency/City PRD legislative election
4. Select the region up to the City/Regency level
2024 Election Schedule
1. Program and budget planning and preparation of implementing regulations for holding elections: 14 June 2022-14 June 2024.
2. Updating voter data and compiling voter lists: 14 October 2022-21 June 2023.
3. Registration and verification of election participants: 29 July 2022-13 December 2022.
4. Determination of election participants: December 14, 2022.
5. Determination of the number of seats and determination of electoral districts: 14 October 2022-9 February 2023.

8. Election campaign period: 28 November 2023-10 February 2024.
9. Quiet time: February 11-13, 2024.
10. Voting and counting:
- Voting: February 14, 2024.
- Vote counting: 14-15 February 2024.
- Recapitulation of vote counting results: 15 February 2024-20 March 2024.
11. Determination of election results:
- No PHPU (election results dispute): no later than 3 days after notification from the Constitutional Court.
- There is PHPU: no later than 3 days after the MK decision.
12. Pronunciation of the oath/promise of the president and vice president as well as members of the DPR, DPD, Provincial DPRD and Regency/City DPRD:
- Regency/City DPRD: Adjusted to the end of the term of office of each Regency/City DPRD member.
- Provincial DPRD: Adjusted to the end of each term of office.
- DPR and DPD Provincial DPRD Members: October 1, 2024.
- President and Vice President: October 20, 2024.
If there is a second round, the 2024 election schedule will continue with the following stages:
1. Updating voter data and compiling voter lists: March 22 2024-April 25 2024.
2. Election campaign period: 2-22 June 2024.
3. Quiet period: 23-25 June 2024.
4. Voting: June 26, 2024.
5. Vote counting: 26-27 June 2024.
6. Recapitulation of vote counting results: 27 June 2024-20 July 2024.
