PChristmas rhyme SUPPORT e Huawei Italy have announced the renewal of their technological partnership for the next two years, with a specific focus on the development of FTTH (Fiber-To-The-Home) solutions, with a view to shaping the digital future of connections.
SIPORTAL, which has always been committed to the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, thanks to the renewal of the partnership, will enhance the Points of Presence (POP) of its Network with the latest technologies provided by Huawei, aiming to improve their efficiency and performance, without neglecting environmental sustainability. The new technologies implemented aim, in fact, to optimize the use of resources and reduce the environmental impact, for a responsible approach.
In this context, Huawei’s commitment to allowing the interoperability of its solutions in an open market aligned with international industry standards is significant. This opening will represent a notable improvement in the customer experience, with a positive impact on the entire ecosystem of SIPORTAL’s technological partners, thanks to greater flexibility and the possibility of customizing the networks.

The collaboration will also extend to the use of Huawei technologies on theAccess to fiber in XGS-GPON technologya key move that will allow SIPORTAL to further improve the quality and performance of its solutions: in fact, in addition to increasing the signal range up to 40 km, it will allow data transmissions at speeds of 10 Gigabits per second, in symmetric mode.
Thanks to DWDM transportFurthermore, the company will also be able to offer even higher bandwidths (up to 400 Gbit/s) with a view to long distancewith fully guaranteed bandwidth and very low latencies, thanks to the latest generation architectures.
Huawei, with its prominent role as a vendor and investor in long distance backbones, will offer crucial support for the realization of this ambitious initiative.
