As he said at the press conference, he considers himself to be from the Belgrade asphalt, just like Džej. Husa shares a lot in common with the famous Doćolc (or Dorcholc, as Jay called himself), the only difference is that Husa did not have a difficult childhood like Jay. Husa worked together with him, they were friends and their origins are the same, as well as the prejudices they encountered. The singer and newly minted actor, Husa Alijević, touched on the prejudices that both Jay and he faced in their youth:

“We are witnessing that from decade to decade various things change and I am a Belgrade child, I am the fourth generation in Belgrade, but my family is from Macedonia, just like Dže’s. I see Belgrade as a metropolis, I was born in it, I grew up in it , I am aware that today there are really people from all continents in it. But the fact is that even today we still have some discrimination against the Roma population. It is a constant theme. It is noticeable that it is suppressed from decade to decade, but in the 80s and in the late 70’s it was on a higher level. That’s why we bring it in the film, it’s not fiction, it’s something that happened, and I, as a child, encountered such things in the early 80’s when I was a teenager “, Husa told MONDO.

He also referred to the late Marina Tucaković, who wrote the lyrics for the biggest hits. Husi specifically did not write the songs, but they collaborated together. At the age of 20, he had his own songs that he wrote, composed and performed himself. But, in the early 2000s, he wanted to collaborate with Marina. Already in 2003 a song was recorded for Džej called “Lie and Fraud” signed by Husa Alijević and Marina Tucaković. The spears of the two talents were then crossed. And here’s what Husa says about the film itself!

“This film only reinforces my musical sensibility, which I will watch as soon as possible to express it. I got a little tired of being an actor for this year (laughs), I also got a little bored with studies, performances and everything. I had 60 people filming on this project days, but they didn’t represent anything difficult for me, I worked on this project with a full heart, my eyes focused on Džej Ramadanovski, who is watching all this from somewhere above. I am sorry that he is not alive to be here with us. He certainly deserved to have a film made about him,” said Husa, and in the end he said to all people who want to be successful in life:

When you’re having a hard time, watch the story of Dže Ramadanovski, when you’re having a hard time, watch the story of Novak Djokovic and just get over it and move on, everything will work out,” he concluded.
