Ice Hockey World Cup: Germany has no chance at the start
End of 1st third: And then the third is over. It’s shaping up to be a very uncomfortable evening for the Germans. Sweden proves its class and hits the DEB team with the puck. Things have to get better with the district boys.
20th minute/1. Third: Too bad for Sweden! Things get bitter for Germany early on. Peterka gets a time penalty because he lifts his stick too high. Sweden immediately uses the resulting superiority mercilessly. Olofsson hits him with two seconds left. This means that Peterka can go back on the field, but he still won’t be happy.
