The junior selection of Igokea m:tel will participate in the youth FIBA Champions League from April 2 to 7.
At the tournament that is played in Debrecen, the young “Igos” will try to repeat the success of last season’s team, which won the trophy under the command of coach Slobodan Kecman in Bursa, in the premier edition of this competition.
Thirteen teams are divided into four groups, and the first-placed teams will qualify for the semi-finals. The second-placed team will play for 5th to 8th place, and the third-placed team and one fourth-placed team will play for 9th to 12th place.
Igokei m:tel, when it comes to the group stage, the rivals will be Nimburk and AEK. The first match will be played on Wednesday against the Greeks, starting at 11:00 a.m., while they will meet the Czechs a day later at the same time.
Not long after the end of this tournament, the juniors of Igokee m:tel turn to their duties at to the final round of the U-19 ABA League, which will be played this year in Novi Pazar on April 17 and 18.
