KILASJATIM.COM, Jakarta – The Constitutional Court (MK) presented Coordinating Minister for PMK Muhadjir Effendy, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini in the 2024 Presidential Election dispute hearing.
During the hearing, Constitutional Court Judge Enny Nurbaningsih asked the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini regarding the social protection budget (Perlinsos) which would be disbursed from January to February 2024.
Enny asked whether the disbursement of the social security budget was indeed carried out during the political month.
“Is it true that at the beginning of the year, starting in January, February, during political times like that, the budget can be disbursed?” said Enny at the follow-up hearing of the 2024 General Election Results Dispute (PHPU) case at the Constitutional Court (MK), Jakarta, Friday (5/4/2024).
Risma explained that the disbursement of social assistance at the beginning of the year had been carried out long before she became Minister of Social Affairs.
He said the distribution of social assistance at the beginning of the year was carried out to meet the needs of the recipients.
“Earlier we explained that the budget was disbursed at the beginning of the year, even before I became minister. The disbursement was already in January because I explained the theory earlier that if they couldn’t meet one month’s needs for living, they couldn’t. “So that’s why we really have to be disciplined to help them,” he explained.
Then, Risma also answered Constitutional Court Judge Arief Hidayat’s question about social assistance at the Ministry of Social Affairs not being in the form of goods.
According to him, the distribution of social assistance at the Ministry of Social Affairs is in the form of money transfers to recipients.
“We will answer Mr Arief Hidayat’s question. Social assistance at the Ministry of Social Affairs takes the form of cash transfers. So it’s not in the form of goods or in kind. So all transfers to the beneficiary’s account are 100 percent. “Except for case response, so there are people who are sick, there are people with disabilities who need help, and they haven’t received any help at all,” he explained.
