The second stage of the San Marino Fuzzy Açaí Championship was marked by intense disputes and a high level of competitiveness on the track, last Saturday (16), at the Kartódromo San Marino, in Paulínia (SP). The championship is the only official competition in the interior of the State, endorsed and supervised by FASP (São Paulo Automobile Federation). The third stage will be on April 13th.
As in the first stage, the F4 Graduados and F4 Sprinter categories – which race together – were once again the highlight, bringing together the largest grid (23 drivers) and also providing the closest competitions. Henrique Pelaquim was the stage champion in the F4 Graduados and João Murari won in the F4 Sprinter.
In F4 Senior, the victory in the second stage went to driver Maurício Guzzo. Daniel Sousa e Silva won in F4 Super Senior and Luiz Cervone was the champion in F4 Master.
In Mirim, Bernardo Souza Vieira was the champion and, in Cadete, the winner was João Lucas Costa.
In the X30 Graduates category, the victory went to Diogo Mazon. In X30 Senior, Luiz Fernando Coelho was the champion and, finally, in Shifter, Marcelo Arruda won.
The competition has nine stages and is divided into two rounds. The grand final will take place on November 30th, with double scoring.
The championship offers more than R$200,000 in prizes to drivers and teams, through raffles for complete zero karts, personalized helmet paintings, among others. The top five finishers, plus the pole position in each category, will also receive exclusive trophies.
